How We Structure Every Engagement

Every project at The Collective starts with a discovery workshop — typically two hours, in person or remote — where we map your audience, your competitors, and the specific outcome you need. From that session we produce a brief document that aligns scope, timeline, and success metrics before a single pixel is moved. This upfront investment in creative direction is what separates work that looks good in a portfolio from work that changes a business. We operate on fixed-scope contracts with clear milestones, so you always know what is coming next and what it costs.

Our Service Offer in Full

Brand Strategy & Identity

Positioning workshops, competitor audits, naming, logo systems, colour and type specifications, brand guidelines PDF and Figma library. Typically delivered in four to six weeks for a new brand; two to three weeks for a refresh. You receive editable source files for every asset.

Web Design & Development

Full-service website projects from information architecture through to deployment. We design in Figma, build in modern frameworks, and hand over a CMS-powered site you can edit without developer help. Includes Core Web Vitals optimisation, accessibility audit (WCAG 2.1 AA), and a two-week post-launch support window.

Paid Media Management

Google Search, Display, Shopping, and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns. Monthly retainer includes strategy, creative production, A/B testing, and a plain-English performance report. Minimum recommended ad spend €1,500 per month; management fee from €600 per month.

SEO & Technical Content

Full technical SEO audit using Screaming Frog and Ahrefs, on-page optimisation, structured data implementation, and a content calendar with monthly articles written to rank. Retainers start at three months. We measure position changes, click-through rates, and organic revenue — not just session counts.

Content Production

Photography briefs, copywriting, video scripts, and social content systems. We do not operate a camera crew in-house, but we brief and art-direct external photographers and videographers so the output is coherent with your brand, not a stock-library approximation.

Common Questions Before You Brief Us

Do you work with clients outside Ireland?

Yes — roughly a third of our active projects at any time are with UK or EU clients. We run discovery sessions over video call and keep async communication tight via Notion and Slack. Time zone is rarely a barrier within Europe.

What is the minimum project size you take on?

Our smallest standalone project is a brand refresh, which starts at €3,500. Full website projects start at €7,000. We do not take on piecemeal tasks such as single-page edits or one-off social posts — we are better value when we own a meaningful scope.

How long does a typical website project take?

A five-to-eight page marketing site takes eight to twelve weeks from signed contract to launch, assuming timely feedback from the client side. E-commerce or custom-application builds run twelve to twenty weeks. We build milestones into every contract so delays are visible early, not at go-live.

Do you offer ongoing retainers after launch?

We do. Most clients move onto a monthly support and growth retainer after project delivery. This covers hosting management, CMS updates, monthly SEO reporting, and a set number of design or development hours. Retainers start at €750 per month.

Who will I actually be working with day-to-day?

You will have a named project lead who attends every call and owns the brief. We do not rotate account managers mid-project. Your lead is backed by our design, development, and strategy specialists as the work demands — but you have one consistent point of contact throughout.

“We had worked with two agencies before The Collective and both times ended up with a site that looked fine but felt like it belonged to someone else. This time the discovery session on week one changed everything — by the time we saw the first design, it already felt like ours. The finished site launched in January and we have not touched it since, because it simply works.”
